How do I use NormaLyte?

Mix one packet of NormaLyte with 500 mL (16.9 oz) drinking water and stir or shake to dissolve. Adults and children over 1 year of age can drink ONE Liter solution over a period of 8-24 hours, or as directed, UNDER MEDICAL SUPERVISION.

What is low osmolarity?

Water is driven to areas of higher osmolarity. When a drink has lower osmolarity than the tissues, water gets absorbed into the tissue where it is needed. Normalyte contains only 254 mOsm per Liter compared to 355 mOsm per Liter contained in major sports drinks. Is NormaLyte safe?
All ingredients in NormaLyte are generally recognized as safe by US FDA. NormaLyte is based on a formula developed by W.H.O. (World Health Organization) which has stood extensive evaluations and testing by the scientific community.
Can NormaLyte be used for children?
Ask your doctor if you want to use NormaLyte in children under 1 year of age. It can be safely used in young children and seniors.
Is NormaLyte for pregnant or breast-feeding mothers?

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should always consult their physician before use.

Are there any warnings or contra-indications to be aware of?

Does NormaLyte contain added Sweeteners or preservatives?

NormaLyte PURE does NOT contain any artificial sweeteners. The flavored varieties of NormaLyte contain Sucralose, Citric Acid and Flavors to enhance taste. It does not contain any added preservatives. Sucralose has demonstrated excellent safety profile and is widely used in the Food and Beverage industry.

How many calories does NormaLyte contain?

One Liter solution of NormaLyte contains only 58 calories compared to Pediatric Electrolyte Drinks = 100 calories Sports Drinks = > 200 calories

Does NormaLyte contain added sugar?

NormaLyte contains only 75 mMol/Liter of Glucose which is the exact amount required to facilitate the absorption of 75 mMol/Liter of Sodium contained in the solution. NormaLyte does not contain high calorie Sucrose or Fructose which is nonessential for absorption of Sodium.

Does NormaLyte have Kosher or Halal certificate?

NormaLyte does not contain any animal-derived ingredients.
