I didn't like the taste. It tastes like a very salty water, you can't really mix it woth anyuthing.
Thanks for letting us know! It's true that taste is subjective and some people have a hard time with the saltiness of an ORS inspired mix. To me, it tastes like softened water but for some it's very salty. While generally not recommended, it is possible to add more water to the formula when needed if that helps with the taste.
The only issue I have is that it doesn’t dissipate well. I have to keep stirring so you have to take it all at onc

I really don't like the flavor, I can't get myself to drink it. I'm sure it's a wonderful product that may work better than my current electrolyte for treating pots, but if I dread every sip it's not gonna work out, I need to drink. I would try a lemonade flavor if this company had one. The unflavored just tastes like weird salty water

NormaLyte is a medical grade electrolyte. Were you able to try a free sample before making the larger purchase? We always recommend going that route so you can try all the flavors for just the cost of $5 for shipping and handling.
Other electrolytes would give me headaches on top if my already overbearing symptoms due to their added chemicals, dyes, and sugars. With issues like MCAS and POTS and others, I'm very careful about what i consume to avoid flares. I drink the pure when I wake up and it helps to subdue my POTS symptoms. I use it if I know I'll be over exerting or if I'm just having a bad symptom day. I definitely recommend this product!

I have dysautonomia/POTS and over the past 7-8 years have tried salt tablets and many different
ORS, but Normalyte Pure has by far worked the best! There's no added flavor so I'm able to put it in anything, but it does taste VERY salty and "mineral-y". I typically dilute it a little more than recommended and use a third of a packet in 500ml. If I'm feeling especially bad I will use the whole packet in 500ml. It doesn't taste great but it almost immediately resolves a lot of my pots symptoms.

My daughter was at a loss, she was diagnosed with POTs at the age of 18. She could not take in enough salt and we found her syncope about 20-30 times a day. We did not know how much salt would help!! I was pretty much bed ridden from POTS when I was dx in 2017, I followed the advise of my fellow POTsies of drinking Gatorade and eating salty processed foods, all it did was make me gain a bunch of weight and I still felt like **** on top of now being fat. Occasionally I'd see someone online come in and say you can kick POTS butt and put it into remission and getting your life back is possible and they would be shut down by nay sayers. I finally sent one a PM out of desperation and found a whole bunch of new friends! With Normalyte Pure (I HATE the flavor of the sweetener in the flavored packets) I was a convert from the first packet, I started off needing 4 packets a day but I was able to get up and out of bed, I could do things around the house and start a physical/cardiac rehab program. I got my life back! It was a long road, I still have flares on occasion but following the advice from those recovered I've done well. The most important thing though is to get moving! No laying down during the day, you can sit but feet on the floor, get up and moving every hour for a few minutes at least. Start with baby steps if needed, bed ridden? Start with sitting. You will feel like **** but push through and drink your Normalyte! Life will get better:)
This is easily the best oral rehydration packet I've tried for my POTS/nOH, especially when the GI symptoms are flaring. It's an absolute necessity for me to keep this around, otherwise I'd be getting IV hydration much more often. Like many dysautonomia patients, I have a handful of other issues that make my digestive system extra picky, and this ingredient list works well for me, I keep coming back to it. Sometimes I might have 1-2 packets per day, other times less frequently, but I never want to run out.
I actually kind of like the taste, and find it soothing.
